Roofer

Report app for roofers and sheet metal workers

On the roof, the weather matters. That is why the report records not only area and tiles but also whether it was dry, windy or frosty — day by day.

In the report

Area, tiles and weather

The «Roofer / Sheet metal worker / Facade fitter» profile adds four fields under «Daily output» to the report. The weather is chosen from a fixed list.

Roof aream²

The area roofed that day.

Tiles laidPieces

Tiles laid, as a whole number.

Roof penetrationsNumber

Chimneys, roof windows, vents — every point where the roof covering is penetrated.

Weather conditionsChoice: Dry, Light rain, Overcast, Windy, Sunny, Cold / frost

This way the report shows why a day was shorter.

On the roof

Safe up top, properly documented

Nobody will see later what lies under the tiles. And anyone working up top needs the right equipment.

  • Every junction with a photo

Chimney, roof window, valley: the employee takes photos in the report before the roof is covered. All pictures are then also in the site gallery.

  • Fall protection assigned

You keep harnesses, lanyards and helmets with chin straps as PPE and assign them to a person. They see their equipment in the app under «My inventory».

  • Rules for everyone

You send a new safety rule as a message to everyone, to a department or to individuals. The list shows how many have read it.

  • Tiles from stock

If someone chooses 120 tiles from stock and enters them as used, the stock goes down — once the boss has switched on deduction. It is off by default.

Checklist per site

What needs doing on site is listed as a checklist on the site — your workers tick it off in the report. For example:

  • Fall protection checked before starting work
  • Junctions at chimney and roof window photographed
  • Underlay closed before the rain
  • Site left secured against storms

Examples — you set the items yourself.

Frequently asked questions

What businesses want to know first

Can I record the weather in the report?

Yes. Under «Daily output» the employee chooses the weather conditions from a list: dry, light rain, overcast, windy, sunny or «Cold / frost». This does not replace a site diary — what belongs in one is explained in the guide Keeping a site diary.

Does the profile also suit sheet metal workers and facade fitters?

Yes, in the app it is called «Roofer / Sheet metal worker / Facade fitter». That is why the starter pack also includes a sheet metal hammer and tin snips.

Does the tile stock go down when tiles are laid?

If you want it to. Under Company → Permissions, the boss switches on «Deduct material from stock»; after that, every report with tiles used from stock reduces the stock. It is worth doing a stocktake first.

Does Baurapport remind me when the harness needs inspecting?

No. The protective equipment is in stock and can be assigned; there is no reminder before inspection or expiry dates. Baurapport sends reminders for vehicles: MFK, insurance and service.
